The Challenge
Going through a rapid growth and entering the UK market in fibre optic network design, NetPMD required an agency to translate their strategic vision into an actionable marketing plan.

They needed help with their brand narrative and positioning in the marketplace and then help with delivering that message to their customers. They also were looking for a new online presence and visual identity.
With no in house marketing resource, they assistance was required in both strategy and delivery.
Our Approach
NetPMD chose Join the Dots as they were an agency ONLY serving technology and telecoms companies, with a track record of over twenty years in FTSE 100 level b2b technology marketing.

Working together with the Chief Information Officer, Stuart McNeil, and other senior members of the team, we created a strategy and annual marketing plan. We then broke the plan down into a 6-month content road maps.

We started to write regular blogs on topics such as smart cities and closing the digital divide and started to manage the social media channels.

The Creative
NetPMD then asked us to help with their rebrand and a new website.
We reviewed the existing website content, conducted a market and competitor analysis and ran a brand workshop. We uncovered the values of the company, which were trust, accuracy, innovation, sustainability, and teamwork.
We agreed that the brand personality of the company was very much about being approachable, straightforward and above all else experts in their field. We created the brand narrative and structure for the website, we also re wrote the web copy.
The tone of voice and brand personality now reflects the warmth and professionalism of the company.

"Working with Join the Dots has been great. They are flexible and always available, just like having our own Marketing Manager on hand to help out. They helped us develop the strategy and execute on it tactically which is just what we needed.”
Stuart McNeil, Chief Information Officer
